Clean energy heating project underway in Jining

Officials attend a groundbreaking ceremony for a PPP (Polluter Pays Principle) heating supply project in Jining district, Ulanqab on Sept 8, 2017. The project aims to utilize local clean energy and power resources, reduce carbon emissions and improve the air quality in urban areas. The new heating system uses renewable sources of energy to generate power for Jining district, making a significant contribution to protecting the local environment. It's being coordinated by Jining district government and Inner Mongolia Yijia Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Co Ltd, with the capacity for providing heating to residents in dwellings and offices measuring over 63 million square meters in Jining.
