UNCCD COP 13 convenes in Ordos

Thousands of people from all over the world gathered in Ordos on Sept 6 to attend the 13th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 13) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).

From Sept 6 to 17, attendees will probe into the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and attempt to establish a new strategic framework for combating desertification. The conference aims to achieve the goal of zero growth in earth deterioration and the organization of campaigns to raise fund and support from global communities.
