Big deals signed at Inner Mongolia expo

An amount of 8.9 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) of business transactions were signed at the 18 China Green Food Expo, which concluded in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 21.
The expo, which lasted for four days, also saw the signing of 667 cooperation projects.
The projects are primarily related to trade and technological investment, while the total sales volume at the expo reached 120 million yuan.
A total of 750,000 people took part in the expo, which saw the participation of 2,204 companies exhibiting 13,516 products.

Creative designing products and new technological results were shown at the expo.

During the green expo, activities included an agricultural products introduction and market event, a forum on agricultural supply-side reform, and a signing ceremony for the cooperation of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Organic Food Certification Center. The expo also saw 27 business promotion activities.
During the opening day, numerous local residents came to the exposition, which exhibited Hainan fruits, Hubei tea, and Heilongjiang grains. They were fond of the excellent workmanship and nutrient rich agricultural products.
