In-depth IPR rights forum upcoming in Shizimen CBD

The China Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Hengqin Forum 2017 will be held at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in the Shizimen Central Business District on Aug 29.

Themed IPR Operations & Financial Innovation, the daylong event will cover: China's IPR operations situation, and trends; opportunities and challenges faced by IPR operations in the Greater Bay Area; advanced IPR operations modes and experience; and IPR-related financial innovations and cross-disciplinary operations.

Notable domestic industry figures will attend along with representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) China Office, IP departments of the Hong Kong and Macao SARs, and free trade zones.

The event is sponsored by the China Intellectual Property News, Hengqin Federation for International Protection of Intellectual Property, and Hengqin International Intellectual Property Trading Center Co Ltd, the founder and operator of HIPEX National Platform Agency, also known as the Seven Stringed Lute National Platform.

On the agenda is a signing ceremony for related projects.

The forum may become the largest and highest-level of its kind with the most profound influence in China, said a spokesperson.
