Kingsoft Software Park meets environmental norms

Kingsoft Software Park R&D Section Phase II in Tangjiawan Town is expected to be completed in December 2018, according to a project acceptance notice published by the Zhuhai Environmental Protection Bureau on June 2.

Located north of North Lovers Avenue, the 500 million yuan ($73.4 million) project will serve as the new office and R&D area of Zhuhai Kingsoft. It covers 76,900 sq m and has total floor space of 97,000 sq m, of which 80,000 sq m is above ground.

The second phase will comprise four buildings, including a six-story employee apartment building and three office buildings, with the highest having 23 floors.

Two years ago, Kingsoft opened an integrated technology building, which has become the company's R&D headquarters in Zhuhai. Kingsoft Software Park new location first phase was capped in January last year. It includes five ocean-view office buildings and three apartment buildings inclusive for staff.
