Flights initiated from Zhuhai to Nantong, Yantai

A maiden flight ceremony for the Zhuhai-Nantong-Yantai route operated by Donghai Airlines Co Ltd was held at the Zhuhai Airport on May 10.

Daily flight DZ6259/60 departs Zhuhai at 9 am and arrives at Yantai in Shandong Province at 1:30 pm after stopping at Nantong in Jiangsu Province at 10:55 am. This further extends Zhuhai's aviation market reach, strengthens transport capacity of the airport, and offers greater convenience to travelers.

Donghai Airlines vice president Hu Ruping announced in a speech that the company is the first airline to park airplanes overnight at Zhuhai Airport in addition to the base airlines. Donghai will offer more aircraft and increase investment on new product development to serve locals, he added.

The company had assigned two other airplanes to serve at Zhuhai Airport this year. The first came into service on March 26 linking Zhuhai with Hangzhou, Fuzhou, and Haikou. The second was used on the Zhuhai-Nanchang-Taiyuan and Zhuhai-Nanchang-Shenyang routes on May 5. Along with the original Zhengzhou-Zhuhai-Haikou flight route, Donghai Airlines has operated seven flights to 10 cities from Zhuhai Airport.
