4Dage to create virtual reality at 2017 World Expo

Zhuhai company 4Dage Ltd has been designated as the lone Designated Virtual Reality Technology Supplier for the China Pavilion of the 2017 World Expo in Kazakhstan's capital, Astana.

The selection was announced in Beijing on April 28. Astana Expo 2017 will be held from June 10 to Sept 10. The theme is Future Energy.

Award ceremony 

4Dage will make the virtual guide for the China Pavilion. By then, visitors will browse online for all kinds of terminal equipment independent of plugins. Compressed with encryption technology, pictures during the guided tour will be presented in every detail in KB-level pixel yet cost low mobile data usage. Meanwhile, the guided virtual tour will seamlessly connect with VR equipment to enhance real feelings of spectators on the scene.  

An executive said he felt honored to be a partner with the China Pavilion. Two teams formed by key staff have been established. One will work closely with the China International Exhibition Center Group and World Expo Organizing Committee to integrate materials in the early stage, and the other will fly to Kazakhstan to collect on-site data. He said the company hopes to offer innovative technologies with Chinese characteristics in international cultural exhibition and communication.

4Dage was founded in Qianshan of Zhuhai in September 2014 by Cui Yan, a doctorate who had worked as a senior engineer at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). The company's fully automatic super high-vision digital platform reaches world-class level in the artificial intelligence visual field. It mainly uses cameras to simulate eyes and backstage supporter as man's brain to establish a 3D model showing real scenes in the virtual world.
