Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Vocational Technology

Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Vocational Technology (hereinafter called "IVT") is a higher vocational institute initiated by Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and approved by Jiangsu Provincial Government. Since its foundation in December 1997, by drawing on the experience of vocational education from Singapore, Germany and other developed countries, believing in that "the needs of enterprises set our goals" and aiming at "training today's students with tomorrow's technology to serve the future", IVT has constituted a brand-new pattern of vocational education featuring a customer-service-oriented mindset, a strong partnership with enterprises, a "Teaching Factory" training mode, an alternating schedule of work and study, and comprehensive international cooperation.
