Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology

Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology is a full-time public institute, under the jurisdiction of the Jiangsu Provicial Department of Education. The College was founded in 1964. It is composed of 3 campuses: Jiuli campus (main campus), Yellow River campus (science and technology pioneer park), Pingshan (electromechanical production teaching park). It covers an area of 1100 mu and building area of more than 250,000 square meters. It has nearly 600 full-time and part-time teachers and more than 12,000 students. The college is divided into 7 departments: Chemical Engineering Technology Institute, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology Institute, Information Management Technology Institute, Faculty of Materials Engineering, Ideological and Political Education and Research Department, Sport Education Department, Continuing Education Institute. It sets up 42 majors, 2 national excellent courses, 6 provincial fine-selected courses. The college cooperates with foreign universities to set up Canada Loyalist Class, Australia Cowan Class and Overseas Undergraduate Train Class. The college has 2 national training bases and 3 provincial training bases and 40 modern campus training centers. Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology has been graded as excellent by the assessment of the Ministry of Education. It has also been awarded the honors of the demonstrative higher vocational colleges of Jiangsu Province and the Party of Jiangsu Province assessment excellent unit.
