Have you ever seen a water pot without a lid? This Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) purple-glazed pot, shaped like a peach, is actually a clever "reverse-flow pot". To fill it, you turn it upside down and pour water through a tiny hole at the bottom. Once upright again, the water pours smoothly from the spout!
