The Henan Museum has unveiled a new exhibition at its National Treasure Gallery, bringing together two Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC) bronze treasures: a you (wine container) of a Western Zhou official named Bao from the Shanghai Museum and a zun (wine container) also of Bao from the Henan Museum.

Through the eyes of Bao, the exhibition recalls how he received orders from the Zhou king, presided over court rituals, witnessed feudal lords paying tribute, and ultimately was rewarded with honors. These moments were immortalized in the two bronze pieces, bearing the same inscriptions that still speak to us today.

Dates: Until March 29
