Guiyang SOE opens TCM wellness center for benefit of residents

The Guiyang Medicinal Botanical Garden Wellness Center opened on Dec 22. This medical and rehabilitation integration project is invested in and developed by Guiyang Health Investment Co, a subsidiary of State-owned Guiyang Infrastructure Construction & Investment Group.

Located within the Guiyang Medicinal Botanical Garden in Nanming district, the center covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters. Built around its natural landscape and featuring traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture, the center integrates multiple functions, including health management, forest therapy, and TCM cultural experiences. It is equipped with 50 beds and serves as a key component of Guiyang Health Investment Co's "Guiyang Healthcare" wellness brand.

The center primarily serves middle-aged and elderly clients, while also catering to the needs of all ages by providing family-oriented wellness study tours, parent-child health programs, and sub-health management for young people.

One of the project's defining features is the deep integration of TCM culture. Using the rich medicinal resources of the botanical garden, the center combines medicinal herb cultivation, medicinal cuisine development, TCM services, and immersive wellness experiences. Services such as Yao medicinal baths and Miao ethnic head therapy are also provided.

To date, Guiyang Health Investment Co has developed and put a number of community health service centers and rehabilitation centers into operation. Together, these projects form a multi-tiered wellness and rehabilitation service network in Guiyang.
