The Nannieshui stone carvings from Qinxian county, Changzhi, Shanxi province, stand as a powerful testament to the Sinicization of Buddhist art. Now, more than 200 precious stone carvings are on display at the Shanxi Museum's Fusion and Evolution — Stone Carvings of Nannieshui exhibition. In every subtle smile and graceful gesture, a grand visual feast of Buddhist art slowly unfolds.
