2025 Xi'an city consumer brand cooperation concludes successfully

The "Harmonious Integration" 2025 Xi'an City Consumer Brand Cooperation Week, guided by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce and hosted by the Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was held on December 19 at the Hyatt Regency Xi'an Chanba.

The event gathered over 300 participants, including leaders from the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, officials from provincial and municipal commerce departments, industry experts, representatives of leading national commercial brands, local trade enterprises, and members of the media.

Serving as the flagship closing event of Xi'an's annual commercial calendar, the program integrated key elements of the City Consumer Brand Cooperation Week and the Commercial Innovation Development Conference. Earlier, the "Shaanxi Products Shine Across China" study tour in Shenzhen fostered cross-regional partnerships, laying a solid foundation for a dual-track strategy that brings brands into Shaanxi while supporting local projects in expanding nationwide. 

Four themed exhibition zones opened simultaneously during the event. The "Grand Vision" zone highlighted Xi'an's commercial landmarks and upcoming development projects. The "Beauty in Diversity" zone offered interactive experiences featuring distinctive brands such as Chagee and Homa Land. In the "Professional Foundation" zone, visitors had access to one-stop consulting services covering financing, design, and other professional support. Meanwhile, the "Opportunities Hub" zone used a dedicated service-matching platform to connect supply and demand with precision, helping build a fully integrated commercial ecosystem.

The conference was full of inspiring ideas and engaging discussions. Following the opening ceremony, AI expert and popular TikTok and Zhihu creator Ma Li delivered a keynote titled "How to Leverage AI for New Consumer Growth: New Business Thinking in the AI Era", exploring how technology empowers and transforms the consumer market.

Consumer investor and CCTV commentator Ma Ning delivered a keynote titled "Emotion, Scene, and IP: New Opportunities for Offline Commerce in Emerging First-Tier Cities", sharing insights on how brands can navigate and succeed in the evolving landscape of new consumer trends.

Zhang Xiaobing, business manager of TikTok Life Services, presented "Transformation and New Growth Drivers of Xi'an Commerce in 2025", offering practical insights to support the digital transformation of local businesses.

Two high-level roundtables focused on key industry topics and resonated with the audience. The first explored AI-driven enhancements in consumer experiences, commerce storytelling, and industry restructuring. The second examined the shift from traffic-based strategies to experience-driven approaches, highlighting Xi’an’s young, culturally rich consumer market. These discussions offered diverse insights for the high-quality development of local commerce.

The event highlighted Xi'an's 2025 commercial achievements and advanced efforts to boost consumer spending.

Xi'an will continue driving its dual-engine strategy — attracting brands to the city and expanding local projects nationwide — while enhancing the business ecosystem, creating immersive and smart consumer experiences, and deepening the integration of commerce, culture, tourism, and sports to highlight the timeless commercial appeal of the ancient capital.
