An agreement was signed to establish an environmentally friendly insulated packaging materials and anime derivative products project in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) on Nov 11.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($70.79 million), the project focuses on the research and production of non-woven insulated bags and acrylic standees, pins, and other anime cultural derivative products.
Adopting a circular production model, the project recycles non-woven packaging bags, processes them into raw materials, and establishes a recovery-reprocessing-reuse production cycle, reducing resource consumption and waste emissions.
The project is expected to further enhance the integrated development of the regional cultural industry and energy-saving environmental protection industry, promoting the development zone's construction of a green and low-carbon industrial ecosystem.
