Thai students embark on study tour in OVC

The "50th Anniversary of China-Thailand Diplomatic Relations" Study Tour in China (Hubei) was launched on Dec 10 with a ceremony at the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC).

Students from Chulalongkorn University, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, and Ramkhamhaeng University, along with government, cultural tourism, and education representatives from both nations, gathered at OVC to experience firsthand the appeal of Chinese technological innovation.

The 2025 Zhiyin Hubei (Thailand) Image Store was unveiled through a video presentation. This store will serve as a permanent showcase of Hubei's culture, tourism, and technology in Thailand, offering an interactive, digital experience that enables Thai citizens to explore Hubei's charm in depth.

Agreements were also signed between the Thai Alumni Association of China's Universities and the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, as well as between the two sides' tourism companies. These partnerships position OVC as a vital platform for further collaboration in talent development, industrial cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

The Thai students said the tour was a remarkable journey of discovery, revealing an innovative China, and that they looked forward to future collaborations between Thailand and China in technology and youth entrepreneurship.
