Xi'an hosts investment promotion events in Shanghai

The Xi'an municipal bureau of investment cooperation led a delegation to Shanghai from Dec 1 to 3 to carry out investment promotion events for Xi'an's new materials and new energy industries.

Xi'an New Materials (Shanghai) Investment Cooperation Matchmaking Conference was held on Dec 2.

At the conference, the Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Jinghe New City in Xixian New Area signed agreements with multiple enterprises, covering cutting-edge fields such as nanomaterials, gallium nitride electronics, and strategic partnerships in the aerospace industry.

The total value of the agreements reached 1.07 billion yuan ($151.44 million), resulting in significant breakthroughs in the coordinated development of the industrial chain's upstream and downstream sectors.

As the leader of the Chinese economy, Shanghai attracts top talent, capital, technology, and enterprise resources from both within the country and worldwide. Xi'an, on the other hand, boasts strong scientific and educational strengths, a complete industrial system and unique advantages in new materials and other fields. Connecting with Shanghai and undertaking the spillover of high-quality industries is a key strategy for advancing Xi'an's industrial development.
