The Innovation and Integrated Development Sub-forum of the Second China Railway Express Cooperation Forum was held in Xi'an on Nov 18. Over 200 guests from 16 countries attended the forum to discuss achieving higher quality, better efficiency, and safer development for the China-Europe Railway Express.
The stable operation of the China-Europe Railway Express will support trade growth, strengthen the resilience of international supply chains, and foster new opportunities for economic cooperation.
Gabit Koishibayev, first deputy secretary-general of the China-Central Asia Mechanism, proposed four development directions: "railway express + industry", "railway express + digitalization", "railway express + finance", and "railway express + humanities". He said, "The 'Railway Express+' model helps promote collaborative work among all parties, thereby significantly improving efficiency."
Li Wenxue, vice-president of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co, delivered a speech, saying that the China-Europe Railway Express has become a key pillar for LONGi to balance transportation costs and delivery time, and demonstrate the reliability of LONGi's supply chain.
A representative of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy said that the shared goal of all parties is to achieve win-win cooperation and shared prosperity. Kazakhstan is ready to deepen this cooperation and is committed to building a reliable, diverse, and sustainable transportation ecosystem throughout the Eurasian continent through infrastructure development, logistics innovation, and close cooperation with China and Europe.
