Huangshan University and the Confucius Institute for Ireland at University College Dublin co-hosted the "Confucius Institute Banquet – A Taste of Anhui" on Nov 11 in Dublin, Ireland.

The banquet brought together nearly 100 political, business, and academic figures from Ireland, including Dolores O'Riordan, vice president of UCD; John Paul Kavanagh, former Irish ambassador to China; and Patrick Cox, former president of the European Parliament.

Jiang Hong, vice president of Huangshan University, highlighted that food is a vital bridge for cultural exchange. She also outlined the university's international programs and invited global partners to explore future cooperation.

As one of China's eight major cuisines, Anhui cuisine carries a deep regional heritage. For the banquet, a team of chefs from Huangshan University presented a feast of nine traditional Anhui dishes, earning enthusiastic praise from attendees.
