Now on view at the Nanjing Museum, the exhibition The Myriad Visions: The Beauty of Traditional Chinese Colors brings together exquisite treasures from the museum's collection, tracing the legacy of the five fundamental colors — cyan, red, yellow, white, and black.
From the mysterious, plain hues of the Neolithic period to the splendid brilliance of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), step into this journey through time and experience the colors that have shaped Chinese aesthetics for thousands of years.
