The Sidun site, dating back 4,500-5,500 years and located in today's Changzhou, Jiangsu province, spans the Songze and Liangzhu cultures, revealing a magnificent chapter in the prehistoric civilization along the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

The exhibition Dawn of the East: The Ancient Civilization of the Sidun, now on view at the Changzhou Museum, vividly presents the archaeological findings and cultural legacy of the site with treasures like jade cong, jade belt buckles and pottery jars.
