When the "Golden Voice" of Russia echoed on Taishan Mountain, and the tune of its folk song Katyusha mixed with Taishan's traditions, a cultural exchange happened among the clouds and pines.

On Oct 26, the Daguan Peak summit became an open-air concert spot. The Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory Choir sang famous Chinese and Russian songs, like Light of China and Katyusha, for fascinated tourists.

Held over 1,500 meters up, this event celebrated the China-Russia Culture Year and demonstrated Tai'an's new way of mixing arts with cultural tourism.

Zheng Yuan, head of the Tai'an Culture and Art Center, said the city hosted 11 art-driven events this year, involving 153 international and 73 local artists. These events aim to create a lasting space for cultural exchange while promoting Taishan Mountain's heritage worldwide.

"Just as a Russian saying goes, 'To climb a mountain is to make progress'. Performing here deepened our understanding of Chinese culture," said the artistic head of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory Choir.

By mixing natural wonders with artistic skill, Tai'an is boosting its draw as a global place where tradition meets new ideas, giving visitors not only beautiful views but also deep cultural experiences.
