Four couples sealed their union under the witness of two beluga whales, known as the "Heart of the Ocean", at their marriage registration ceremony at Harbin Polar Park in Harbin, Heilongjiang province on Tuesday.
The ceremony, which was conducted in collaboration with Harbin Polar Park and the Harbin Civil Affairs Bureau, marked the country's first "Deep Sea Certification" marriage registration ceremony and the country's first mobile registration point set in a polar marine park, providing newly-married couples with a unique and romantic experience.
During the ceremony, the couples completed their marriage registrations in a dreamlike oceanic scene as the belugas gracefully formed a heart-shaped arc.
The park is actively planning a series of "Polar Love" themed services in the future.
It aims to further explore the IP value of popular animals like penguins, polar bears, sea lions and walruses, creating more uniquely themed romantic scenes.
The park strives to become the destination of choice for couples nationwide to capture their dream love stories and commemorate happiness.
