Artificial snow delights at Harbin beer fest

Despite the sweltering heat in recent days, visitors have found opportunities to play in the snow at the ongoing 23rd Harbin International Beer Festival in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.

At the same park that hosts the Harbin Ice and Snow World, an outdoor snow play area was constructed for this year's festival using artificial snow.

Visitors can shovel snow, catch falling snowflakes, and have snowball fights.

"I never imagined seeing snow falling in summer," said a tourist from Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. "It's really magical."

She took many photos of the children playing in the snow to share with her family and friends.
