Women Softball Asia Cup 2025 kicks off in Xi'an

The Women Softball Asia Cup 2025 has kicked off at Xi'an Physical Education University's Huyi Campus, where top players from 10 countries and regions, including China, Japan, and South Korea, are participating in an exciting competition from July 14 to 20.

The Women Softball Asia Cup 2025 is the highest-level event in Asian softball, serving as a qualifier for the 2026 WBSC Women Softball World Cup and the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The top three teams will advance to the World Cup, while the top eight teams will qualify for the Asian Games.

Liu Mingzhu, president of the Asian Softball Federation, said that it is an honor for all participants to host the top Asian softball tournament in Xi'an, a millennia-old ancient capital with profound cultural heritage. She looks forward to all teams upholding the spirit of sportsmanship and demonstrating their best abilities in fair competition.
