Nestled at the foot of Jiaoshan Mountain, beneath the Great Wall and its historical Shanhai Pass, the museum stands as a landmark project in Hebei's Great Wall National Cultural Park. Wandering through the museum's exhibition halls, you can explore permanent exhibitions including Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Great Wall of China, Shanhai Pass of the Great Wall, Building the New Great Wall, and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Great Wall.

Public spaces like a cultural creative products store, a café, and the Great Wall-themed post office meet the stylish shopping and leisure demands of young visitors.

The museum's collection comprises over 11,000 artifacts of diverse types and unique features. They encompass many facets of the Great Wall, from architecture, military affairs, and politics to economy, culture, and daily life, offering immense historical, cultural, and academic value.
