Forum held for intelligent manufacturing and digital innovation

The 2025 Intelligent Manufacturing and Digital Innovation Forum, guided by the Federation of Shaanxi Economy and hosted by Xi'an Advanced Manufacturing Association, was held on April 19 in Xi'an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China.

The forum attracted nearly 300 guests, including experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and heads of research institutions in the field of intelligent manufacturing, to jointly explore the technological achievements, industry application scenarios, and implementation paths of intelligent manufacturing and digital innovation.

The forum focused on the core lever of "digitalization" that drives industrial upgrading, and discusses topics such as independent and controllable key technologies and global supply chain risk prevention.

The attending experts believe that intelligent manufacturing and digitization are not only technological tools, but also revolutionary forces reshaping production relations. Only by relying on technological self-reliance and self-improvement to solve the "bottleneck" problem, and building the core engine of new quality productive forces, can Shaanxi accelerate industrial transformation - from a "manufacturing powerhouse" to a "smart manufacturing leader".

At the forum, Dr Wu Yiming, professor of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and founder of Xi'an Zhongke Optoelectronics Precision Engineering Co Ltd, shared the latest progress and application scenarios of global embodied intelligence technology, introduced his main research achievements, as well as the application practices in the intelligent manufacturing industry.

As a leader in China's industrial automation industry, Shenzhen Inovance Technology Co Ltd introduced its InoCUBE-FOS edge computing development system, as well as its comprehensive automation solutions for cross-industry applications.

Today, the world is undergoing the Fourth Industrial Revolution, driven by artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, the Internet of Things, which is rapidly reshaping the global manufacturing landscape.
