The CFA (Chinese Football Association) International Women's Futsal Tournament Hohhot 2025 concluded on April 13, with Team China securing a series victory over New Zealand with two wins and one loss.

The opening match kicked off on April 9 amid enthusiastic cheers from thousands of fans. Both teams came out strong, engaging in fierce competition. China created multiple opportunities during the first half but failed to convert, ending the half in a 0-0 draw. In the last seconds of the final half, China's No 12 player, Zou Yinglan, netted a follow-up goal after a blocked shot, sealing a 1-0 victory for China.

The second match on April 11 ended in a draw and went to a penalty shootout. New Zealand scored the decisive penalty, leveling the series 1-1.

China led 1-0 in the first half of the final match. In the second half, the team dominated, continuously extending its lead and ultimately defeating New Zealand 5-2.

This tournament was of great significance for Team China. It provided a valuable opportunity to compete with a strong international team, helping players identify weaknesses, sharpen skills, and raise their competitive level quickly. The event served as a crucial warm-up ahead of the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Women's Futsal Asian Cup 2025, which will be held in Hohhot this May.
