Wuhan Tianhe International Airport plans to operate 5,113 flights weekly for the summer and autumn travel seasons, averaging 730 daily flights. This includes the addition of three new domestic routes to Yining, Lianyungang, and Yiwu and two new international routes to Bali and Phuket.

Wuhan will also increase the frequency of its domestic express routes to 13 major cities, including Chengdu, Beijing, Kunming, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Guangzhou, catering to the growing demand for travel to popular destinations.

Eleven airlines (including eight foreign carriers) will operate flights from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to 18 international destinations, including San Francisco, London, Sydney, Dubai, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, and Hanoi. Plans are in place to add or increase flights to Moscow, Nha Trang, and Seoul, connecting Wuhan to 12 countries across four continents.

The airport is set to introduce "Ten Service Initiatives", including pre-check services for carry-on luggage for outbound passengers, care zones for passengers with special needs, fast-track security screening without prior reservation, and discounted travel services for transit passengers.

First-time flyers will benefit from dedicated check-in counters and guided assistance. Exclusive counters, security lanes, boarding gates, and baggage carousels will be available for express routes, ensuring a seamless travel experience. Inbound transit passengers can also enjoy complimentary accommodation at a five-star hotel within the airport.
