The trains for Jinan Metro Line 4 were recently unveiled. These trains have made significant progress in technological applications and designs compared to trains on the city's previous metro lines.
The train is approximately 140 meters long and 3 meters wide, featuring 60 doors – 12 more than those on Jinan Metro Line 2, which will make boarding and alighting significantly more convenient for passengers.
The train will offer 288 seats and has a maximum capacity of 2,590 passengers, about 640 more than Line 2, meeting the city's high-efficiency transportation needs. It is designed to operate at a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
Jinan Metro Line 4 spans a total length of 40.2 kilometers and passes through 33 stations. The line traverses the city's major districts from west to east, covering Huaiyin district, Lixia district, the Jinan Innovation Zone, and Licheng district, which will help alleviate traffic congestion. The line is scheduled to open to the public by the end of this year.
