WND welcomes major beauty project

A delegation led by Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, visited Zentec Biotech in Hangzhou on Feb 28, touring the company's laboratory and production lines. During the visit, a signing ceremony was held for Zentec Biotech's headquarters project, marking a significant addition to WND's beauty and healthcare industry.

Founded by AI leader XtalPi, Zentec Biotech specializes in developing, manufacturing, and selling skincare and medical beauty products using soluble microneedle technology. The new project will establish a research and production base at Wuxi International Life-Science Innovation Campus, driving WND's beauty and personal care sector towards high-end, intelligent, and personalized development.

Huang Xiaolu, chairman of Zentec Biotech, commended WND for its exceptional business environment, strong industrial foundation, open innovation ecosystem, and high-end services. Confident in the company's future growth in WND, he pledged to accelerate project development, boost R&D investment, and expand product applications. With a focus on integrating AI technology, Zentec Biotech aims to drive innovation in the beauty and healthcare sectors, contributing to the industry's development in WND.

Cui emphasized that WND prioritizes biopharmaceuticals as a key strategic emerging industry, striving to build a globally competitive biopharmaceutical cluster. In 2024, WND's biopharmaceutical industry surpassed 100 billion yuan ($13.71 billion), accounting for about half of Wuxi's total. The district also ranked 18th nationwide in the comprehensive competitiveness of biopharmaceutical industrial parks.
