The Memorial Museum of Generalissimo Sun Yat-sen's Mansion in Haizhu district is based on the former site of the Generalissimo Sun Yat-sen's Mansion and is a national 3A-level tourist attraction.

From 1917 to 1925, Sun Yat-sen established revolutionary power in Guangdong three times. Two of these efforts were focused at this site, where he led the Constitutional Protection Movement and the National Revolutionary Movement. During this period, he also prepared for the establishment of the Huangpu Military Academy and achieved the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China.

The Generalissimo Sun Yat-sen's Mansion is not only the stronghold of the Constitutional Protection Movement and the cradle of the National Revolution but also an essential witness for the first time the Communist Party of China used the "United Front" successfully.

There are five permanent exhibitions at the museum: Restoration of Generalissimo's Mansion, Sun Yat-sen's Three Revolutionary Power in Guangdong, Sun Yat-sen's Early Years of Struggle Before 1912, Architect Arthur W. Purnell with China, and Great Figures from Generalissimo's Mansion.

The Restoration of Generalissimo's Mansion exhibition adheres to the principle of "restoring as it was, staying true to history", recreating the layouts of various rooms from the period of the Army and Navy Generalissimo's Headquarters based on relevant historical photographs, documents, and oral recollections from elders. The goal is to provide visitors with an immersive experience as if they are stepping back in time.
