The Qingdao Municipal Organization Department, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Finance Bureau launched the Performance Evaluation and Reward Plan for Qingdao Talent Parks Event, assessing 10 talent parks. Qingdao Sino-German Ecological Park's Overseas Talent Entrepreneurship Park took first place and received a 1 million yuan ($136,397) reward.
Shandong has established 30 talent parks, including overseas ones. This performance evaluation is Qingdao's first city-level assessment, focusing on empowering talent. Since 2018, the Sino-German Ecological Park has attracted over 26,000 domestic and international talents, including 220 national-level talents and 2,300 high-level young talents. With its advantages in top talent, the park has contributed to the rapid growth of key industries, including integrated circuits, genetics, and intelligent manufacturing.
