Xi'an Metro launches Qin-themed train

The Xi'an Metro Line 9 launched its Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC)-themed train, known as "An Army Reborn", on Jan 1.

The launch ceremony featured a captivating performance by the cast of An Army Reborn, bringing ancient Chinese traditions to life with immersive scenes and evocative designs.

The themed train offers passengers a journey through time, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Qin Dynasty. Performers from the An Army Reborn production engage passengers with historical stories and interactive trivia sessions, enhancing their understanding of this pivotal era in Chinese history.

The train transforms the metro cars into dynamic cultural spaces, inspired by the epic war drama An Army Reborn. The interior design combines thematic elements with historical storytelling, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the grandeur and legacy of the Qin Dynasty.

"This short ride taught me so much about Qin culture," said a passenger named Wang Luotong. "It felt like a cultural adventure, and I left feeling enriched."
