New Year celebrations kick off Nantong's winter tourism season

Welcome event for the first sun rays in the New Year in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, kicked off the winter tourism season in Nantong.

Starting at 4 pm on Dec 31, the Qitang City scenic area in Qidong provided a variety of offerings to tourists, including Chinese-style performances, firework shows, and campfire parties before the welcome event.

At the launch ceremony of the winter tourism season, the city's tourism referrer introduced local tourism resources, such as viewing the sunrise, hot spring baths, and delicacies, to invite tourists to have a delightful winter in the city.

Over the following three months, Nantong is set to offer six major activities, including garden parties, campfire parties, Spring Festival-themed parades, and over 80 other activities in attractions, counties, and districts, to entertain locals.
