Ordos wins 2024 China Coal Industry Science and Technology Awards

Ordos city was awarded for 37 achievements in energy technology at the 2024 Coal Industry Science and Technology Innovation Achievements and New Technology Exchange Conference.

The China National Coal Association and the China Coal Society recently hosted the conference in Xiamen, Fujian province, East China.

Ordos won four first prizes, 21 second prizes, 11 third prizes, and one team was honored as a Science and Technology Innovation Team.

This year, the Ordos municipal energy bureau, aligning with digitalization, intelligence, and sustainability goals, has driven advancements in energy innovation.

Guided by the Ten Measures for Energy Technology Innovation in Ordos City, breakthroughs in safe, efficient, and green coal mining, clean low-carbon utilization, intelligent mining technologies, and smart mines have placed the city's energy sector at the forefront of global innovation.
