Jinan amusement park wins national 4A scenic area title

The Jinan Sunac Resort, in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, has been designated a national 4A scenic area, local media reported.

The cultural theme park, located in the eastern part of Jinan, opened to the public in 2021 and is Shandong's first cultural and tourism complex integrating culture, tourism, sports, commerce, conferences and exhibitions.

The park includes Sunac Land (a theme park), Sunac Mall, Sunac Water Park, Sunac Ocean Park, Grand Theater, Sunac Sport Park, a bar street and a cluster of high-end hotels. During the National Day holiday, the park welcomed a total of 135,000 visitors, with an average daily increase of 31 percent compared to the previous year.
