In the first 11 months of this year, the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) made 4,706 trips, a 26.8 percent year-on-year increase that secured its position as the top city nationwide for service volume.

Transported goods reached 5.33 million metric tons, with a total value of 84.68 billion yuan ($11.6 billion). This represents year-on-year growth of 22.9 percent and 6.2 percent, respectively, surpassing last year's annual totals.

With its strategic role as an international transportation hub, Xi'an has implemented a "hub + corridor + network" model to build a modern transportation system. The city boasts the nation's first railway container center with automated, unmanned inland terminals and has pioneered a Caspian Sea transport corridor.

Efforts to enhance rail-port services have significantly shortened operation times, cutting journey time for cross-Caspian Sea routes from 20-25 days to 12 days and reducing transportation costs by over 15 percent.

Xi'an's global connectivity has expanded, with 18 international trunk routes covering the entire Eurasian continent. The city's collaboration with Kazakhstan, featuring mutual terminal facilities in Xi'an and Almaty, further strengthens its logistics network.

With advancing rail links and expanded international trade corridors, Xi'an continues enhancing its global logistics role.
