Since the start of the fourth quarter, Wuxi New District has stepped up efforts to advance key projects, boosting industrial innovation and urban renewal.
With a total investment of 1.63 billion yuan ($223.51 million), Xinfa Dongyu Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park marks the area's first urban renewal initiative featuring multi-story industrial facilities. All structures have been topped out, with completion expected June 2025.
China-EU Low-Carbon Industrial Park, with an investment of 1.07 billion yuan, will focus on semiconductors, smart equipment, and new energy. Phase one is scheduled for completion by June 2025, with phase two construction starting the same year.
Siemens Medium-Voltage Intelligent Digital Factory, representing an investment of 1.7 billion yuan, is slated for completion by August 2026.

The 2.25-billion-yuan Taihu Bay International Culture and Art Center project includes a symphony hall, an art exchange center, and a commercial performance hub, and is intended to become a cultural landmark around Taihu Lake. Interior decoration and landscaping are expected to conclude by the end of 2025.

The Wuxi Port customs inspection facility, with a 320-million-yuan investment, will be Wuxi's largest and most advanced customs facility. Completion is expected by December 2025.
Wuxi Beauty and Health Industry Park, a 500 million yuan initiative co-developed with Jiangnan University, will specialize in synthetic biology for cosmetics and aesthetic medicine. It has already attracted key projects, including the Jiangnan Beauty Bay Research Institute and partnerships with French perfume institutions.
