Liu Xiongjia, vice-president of Shenzhen Duty Free Group, highlighted Wuxi's strategic advantages: its central location in the Yangtze River Delta, its nationally-leading per capita GDP, and the airport's growing international passenger flow. These factors make the airport a key hub for companies looking to expand into the Jiangsu-Zhejiang market. "The trial operation sales have met our expectations," Liu noted.
Founded in 1980 as the first State-owned duty-free commodities retailer approved by the State Council, Shenzhen Duty Free Group has established a comprehensive global procurement network and a strong presence across China.
A representative of the group emphasized their commitment to tailoring services to the unique needs of outbound travelers from southern Jiangsu. The store aims to integrate the cultural essence of Jiangsu and Zhejiang while offering a premium selection of high-quality duty-free goods, exceptional services, and a seamless shopping experience.
