On Nov 2 and 3, the 2024 China (Wuhan) Automobile Culture Festival and Wuhan 15-Minute Convenience Life Festival were held in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC). Citizens enjoyed car exhibitions, purchased home appliances, savored delicious food, and watched performances.

Since the beginning of this year, OVC has been hosting various consumer activities, offering discounts on cars, home appliances, dining, and accommodation vouchers, continuously revitalizing consumer vitality.

The 2024 China (Wuhan) Automobile Culture Festival attracted over 10 car companies like BYD, NIO, and Tesla, showcasing new models with advanced technology and interactive intelligence. The event resulted in the sale of 853 cars with intended transactions exceeding 100 million yuan ($13.97 million).

OVC has invested over 2 million yuan this year and collaborated with platforms like Meituan and Douyin to distribute 2024 OVC dining and accommodation vouchers, allowing residents to enjoy shopping in OVC economically.

Since April, OVC has organized 43 companies to participate in trade-in activities at city and provincial levels, distributing around 4.5 million yuan worth of vouchers and generating over 10,000 orders.
