A large drone cargo route test flight was recently launched at the Ulan General Airport in Otog Banner, Ordos city.

The drone took off from Otog Banner General Airport, passing through Otog Front Banner General Airport, Uxin Banner General Airport, and Ordos Ejin Horoo International Airport before returning to its starting point.

This test flight involved a large unmanned transport drone flying day and night, crossing various airports and multiple air control zones. It marked a significant step forward in developing large drone logistics in Ordos.

During the test flight, the drone carried a fixed quantity of fresh beef and lamb from each banner's general airport.

Once the cargo route officially opens, specialty products from banners can be swiftly transported by drone to Ordos International Airport. From there, they will be shipped via commercial flights to major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, ensuring that Ordos' high-quality local products reach distant dining tables quickly.

The FP-98 Leo drone used for this test flight is the first large fixed-wing drone developed by Aerospace Times Feipeng Co.

It has previously operated in significant scenarios, such as cross-sea transport between Hainan and Guangdong and far-sea flights in Sansha, Hainan. It boasts the longest operational time and highest maturity among similar models, earning widespread industry recognition for its exceptional payload capacity, long-range, and advanced technologies.
