Guilin's tourism market booms during National Day holiday

During the National Day holiday, Guilin saw a surge in tourism, with 7.16 million visitors and a total revenue of 8.06 billion yuan ($1.13 billion). The city's stunning landscapes, cultural events, and visitor-friendly initiatives attracted tourists from across the country.

Cultural activities promoted by all counties in Guilin attracted many visitors and boosted the festive atmosphere. In Xing'an county, the "Songs from Lingqu Canal" concert drew large crowds, captivating tourists from all over the country.

The event featured performances by domestic and international artists alongside local musicians, blending music with the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of Xing'an. In addition, the Mao'er Mountain Scenic Area and Lingqu Museum held special celebrations allowing visitors to enjoy the festive spirit.

Meanwhile, at the typical Danxia landform Bajiaozhai scenic area, young visitors enjoyed role-playing from the game Black Myth: Wukong and a tent music festival, offering new ways to celebrate the holiday.

This year's National Day holiday marked a new phase in Guilin's tourism, blending tradition with modern activities to create the city into a world-class destination.
