Hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, the festival will feature artists from 15 countries and regions, including Austria, Hungary, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Italy. It will present 33 performances across 63 shows.

Moreover, 789 artworks from 113 countries and regions will be exhibited at the International Art Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Silk Road, marking a record-high number of participating countries and regions.

At the festival's opening ceremony, a concurrent exhibition showcasing the works of provincial intangible cultural heritage masters and outstanding intangible cultural heritage projects in the food and craftsmanship categories will be held.

The closing ceremony on Nov 10 will feature a choral concert themed on the Silk Road.

Various events will be held throughout the festival, including outreach performances and International Children's Drama Week.

This year's festival also introduces a new section featuring Silk Road micro-dramas, with exhibitions, script competitions, roadshows, and project launches to promote high-quality micro-drama development in Shaanxi.
