Shenzhen Airlines plans to resume international flights between Nantong, Jiangsu province and Osaka, Japan on Oct 27, according to its Nantong branch.
The daily flights will be serviced by a Boeing 737. Departures from Nantong Xingdong International Airport are scheduled for 3:40 pm, arriving in Kansai International Airport at 6:55 pm, while return flights leave Osaka at 7:55 pm, landing in Nantong at 9:55 pm. The above flight times are local.
Following the resumption of flights, Shenzhen Airlines has rolled out discounted airfares for individual travelers, starting from 700 yuan ($99.44) for a round trip, plus taxes (approximately 910 yuan).
While continuing flights from Nantong to Hong Kong and Macao, the new international flight will provide passengers from Nantong and neighboring cities with more travel options.
To date, Shenzhen Airlines has scheduled six overnight flights in Nantong, with an average of 62 daily flights arriving and departing from the airport (including Kunming Airlines). These flights cover 21 destinations, resulting in an average of 31 round trips per day.
After the transition to the winter-spring season on Oct 27, Shenzhen Airlines plans to maintain and expand its flight capacity in Nantong.
Alongside the existing regular domestic flights to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shenyang, and Kunming, new flights to Yantai and Nanning will be introduced.
