The ongoing exhibition at the Confucius Museum in Qufu, Shandong province, features ritual and musical relics from the Kong Family collection (Confucius’s family name was Kong.).
Over 120 artifacts are on display, spanning 3,000 years, including some iconic pieces such as the Ten Offerings from the Shang and Zhou dynasties (c.16th century-256 BC), the Five Offerings from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), the Dasheng Bell from the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), and musical instruments from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).
