On Sept 3, Qian Haiqing, deputy general manager of Taizhou Huali New Materials, expressed his gratitude after successfully applying for a new apprentice training program for 216 employees.

"Without the help of the inspection team of the Taizhou municipal committee of the CPC, the application process wouldn't have gone so smoothly. Plus, the training comes with government subsidies. After the training, some employees will travel abroad to support our overseas factories," Qian said.

Huali New Materials specializes in producing high-end PVC flooring, plastic tiles, and surface materials, with 95 percent of its premium flooring products exported to Europe and the United States. In 2023, the company began establishing a new factory in Thailand to further expand its overseas operations. With the company's growth and the deepening of its global strategy, the need for skilled workers has become more urgent.

The inspection team, after extensive research on cooperation between Taizhou Polytechnic College and enterprises, discovered that the intelligent manufacturing school at the college had significant experience in integrating industry and education, making it an ideal partner for Huali New Materials. The team then worked to facilitate collaboration between the company and the school.
