Taizhou hosts young talent event to connect opportunities and innovation

A "Taizhou Day" young talent event was held at Taizhou University in Taizhou, Jiangsu on Sept 20.

Mayor Wan Wenhua extended a warm invitation to the young talent, emphasizing that Taizhou is a city where dreams can flourish, offering opportunities and career support. She highlighted that Taizhou provides comprehensive assistance to help youth move from merely "starting out" to "taking off".

Xu Xiangming, Party secretary of Taizhou University, expressed the university's commitment to aligning its academic programs with national and local strategic needs. The institution aims to foster innovation and contribute to societal progress through the nurturing of talent.

During the event, the city announced job opportunities, an innovation and entrepreneurship competition, and policies concerning young talent. A job fair and online job recommendation livestream were also held, with 101 companies offering 2,280 positions. Along with a new media entrepreneurship workshop and job-seeking skills seminar, these events attracted over 4,000 students.

Additionally, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Peking University Health Science Center (Taizhou) Industrial Innovation Center, Taizhou University, and Cwbio IT Group to promote collaboration in scientific research, talent development, and resource sharing.
