The 10th International Chamber of Commerce Trade & Investment Conference was held on Sept 19 in Xi'an as a prelude to the 8th Silk Road International Exposition. This marks the beginning of a series of activities for the Xi'an delegation participating in this year's exposition.
Over 260 representatives participated in the event, including diplomats of consulate generals in Xi'an and leaders from international chambers of commerce like the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Vietnam E-commerce Association.
The establishment of the Central City International Chamber of Commerce Alliance at the China International Chamber of Commerce, along with the Business Law Alliance and Exhibition Alliance, was announced during the conference.
The newly formed alliance includes representatives from four municipalities, 15 sub-provincial cities, 17 provincial capitals, and several economically influential cities, showcasing strong representation and leadership qualities.
During the promotional segment, Xi'an showcased achievements in infrastructure, rail transit, cultural tourism, and legal services, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of Xi'an's progress.
Since 2013, Xi'an has hosted 10 editions of the conference, playing a significant role in promoting China's high-quality Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and enhancing cultural exchanges and economic cooperation with BRI countries.
