The seventh Hangzhou International Day opened on Sept 5, with representatives from 17 countries, including Fiji, Cuba, Uruguay, Portugal, and the United States, attending.
This year's tagline, "Hangzhou Connects the World: Cultural Fusion, Industrial Co-creation," aims to strengthen Hangzhou's role as a modern, world-class, international metropolis.
The event saw the global debut of the AI Hangzhou platform, a digital service hub designed for international visitors. Launched in April for trial, it has been visited over 100,000 times and provides city services, news, and guidance for foreign guests. Visitors can access the platform via Alipay for seamless access to Hangzhou's digital services.
In addition to the platform launch, the event features a four-day international food culture exhibition, showcasing delicacies from 20 countries and regions and enhancing Hangzhou's international appeal.
